Notification of Director's Interest in Shares
In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 3.1.4 R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Centrica plc announces that on 7 March 2012, Lesley Knox, a Director of the Company, acquired 3,500 Centrica plc ordinary shares of 614/81 pence ("Shares").
The acquisition of the Shares represents less than 0.001% of the Company's issued share capital.
In respect of the transaction, the Shares were acquired at 306.56 pence per Share. Following this transaction, the total interest for Lesley Knox is 3,500 Shares (less than 0.001% of the Company's issued share capital).
The Company was notified of the transaction, which took place in London, on 8 March 2012.
