Legal & General Group PLC02 March 2007 Legal & General Group Plc Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan In common with all eligible employees, each of the executive directors of Legal& General Group Plc ("the Group") has been invited to apply for partnershipshares under the Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan ("the Plan") on amonthly basis. On 1 March 2007, each executive director chose to contribute topurchase the following partnership shares: Partnership Shares C. R. R. Avery 79 T. J. Breedon 79 A. W. Palmer 79 R. A. Phipps 79 J. B. Pollock 79 The Group matched these shares, on a one-to-one basis, up to £20 per month.Accordingly, each executive director, with the exception of R. A. Phipps,received 13 matching shares; R. A. Phipps received 12 matching shares. Theshares were purchased at a price of 158.75p per share. Differences are due torounding from previous allocations.
