Change in Director Shareholding

Thor Mining PLC ("Thor" or the "Company"), AIM, ASX: "THR" the specialist metals company focused on advancing tungsten, molybdenum and uranium projects in the Northern Territory of Australia, was notified on 16 September 2008 that Mick Billing, the Company's Chairman, and his wife Mrs. B Billing, purchased 102,000 ordinary shares of 0.3p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 4.98c (Australian) on 16 September 2008. Following this transaction Mick Billing's beneficial shareholding in the Company has increased from 48,000 Ordinary Shares to 150,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.1% of the issued share capital of the Company.
