DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING
Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited (AIM: GKP) today announces that it received notification on 16 April 2009 that on 15 April 2009 Mr Todd Kozel, Executive Chairman of Gulf Keystone, as part of advised estate planning, transferred by way of gift 20,000,000 common shares in the Company, equivalent to 5.4% of the Company's issued share capital, to Emerald Trust Limited. Following this transfer, Mr Todd Kozel has a beneficial interest in 3,917,781 common shares, equivalent to 1.1% of issued share capital of Gulf Keystone.
In addition Mr Todd Kozel is a shareholder in Gulf Keystone Petroleum Company LLC which owns 40,000,000 common shares in the Company, equivalent to 10.8% of issued share capital of Gulf Keystone.
