Dairy Crest Group PLC04 January 2006 The following directors were informed by the company's share registrars todaythat on 15 December 2005, by virtue of their participation in the sixth phase ofthe Dairy Crest Sharesave Scheme ("the Scheme"), they were granted the followingoptions over ordinary shares in the company at 388p per share: Mr M Allen 2,409Mr J W D Hall 2,409Mr P W Thornton 2,168 The Scheme is a statutory SAYE share option scheme and the sixth phase commenceson 1 March 2006 and matures on 1 March 2009. All the directors, including Mr A S N Murray and Mr P W Thornton who are alreadysaving under the previous phase of the Scheme, are now saving at the maximumstatutory rate of £250 per month.
