The Company was yesterday informed that under the terms of the Bellway plc Employee Share Trust (1992) (an arrangement to reward directors and employees) 8,365 ordinary 12.5p shares (including dividend equivalent shares which have accrued between grant and vesting) were transferred on 25 November 2015 to Edward Ayres for nil consideration under the Bellway plc (2008) Share Matching Plan.

He immediately thereafter sold 5,969 Bellway plc 12.5 ordinary shares at a price of 2477p per share, and transferred the remaining balance of 2,396 shares to his wife Jane Ayres.

Following the above transactions, the number of Bellway plc 12.5p ordinary shares which are beneficially held is as follows:

The other interests of the directors remain unchanged.
