Shaftesbury PLC10 December 2007 Shaftesbury PLC Director Shareholding Purchase of shares by Employee Benefit Trust On 7 December 2007, Shaftesbury PLC (the "Company") was advised that theShaftesbury PLC Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust") completed the purchase on 6 December 2007 of 187,339 Ordinary Shares in the Company at an average price of£5.506392 per share. Following this transaction, the Trust holds a total of 434,664 shares.
