The Administrators of the GlaxoSmithKline Annual Investment Plan notified the Company and the under-mentioned Director on 15 October 2012, of an increase in his interests in Ordinary Shares following the re-investment of the dividend paid to shareholders on 4 October 2012, at a price of 1456 pence per share.

This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a).
