Quintain Estates & Development PLC03 December 2007 Quintain Estates & Development Plc 3 December 2007 Purchase of Ordinary Shares The independent Trustee of the Quintain Estates and Development Plc EmployeeBenefit Trust ('the Trustee') notified the Company on 3 December 2007 that ithad, on 30 November 2007, purchased a total of 200,000 shares of 25p each in theCompany. 100,000 shares were purchased at a market price of £6.023404 per shareand 100,000 shares at a market price of £6.00 per share. Following this transaction, the Trustee holds a total of 1,200,000 ordinaryshares. These shares will be held by the Trustees against the awards made to directorsunder the Executive Directors' Performance Share Plan, of which Adrian Wyatt,Nicholas Shattock, Rebecca Worthington and Tonianne Dwyer are potentialbeneficiaries and are therefore treated as having an interest.
