Director's share purchase
IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or the "Company" or "Group"), the UK's leading university intellectual property commercialisation company, announces that it has today received notification from Francis Carpenter, a non-executive director of IP Group, regarding the purchase of ordinary shares of 2p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company.
The Company was notified on 04 June 2009 that Francis Carpenter purchased in aggregate 20,000 Ordinary Shares in IP Group at a price of 48 pence per share, representing 0.01% of the Company's current issued share capital. Following the purchase, Mr Carpenter is beneficially interested in 80,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.03% of the Company's issued share capital.
