Legal & General Group PLC27 July 2007 Dealing in Legal & General Group Plc ("the Group") Shares Legal & General has been advised of the following dealing in the Group which hadtaken place during 2007 but had not been drawn to the Company's attention. Thedealing had taken place on behalf of Andrew Palmer, Finance Director of Legal &General Group Plc by Lloyds TSB Registrars. On 21 May 2007 Andrew Palmer's wife, Jane Caroline Palmer, acquired 241 shares,on her ISA holding in accordance with the terms of the Group's DividendReinvestment Plan at a price of 158.9 p per share. On 2 May 2007, Andrew Palmer's conditional allocation under the 2007 Share BonusPlan was incorrectly announced as 89,116, when the actual allocation granted was89,916. Following these corrections, Andrew Palmer's current beneficial interest in theGroup stands at 2,099,294 Ordinary shares. A. D.
