COMPASS GROUP PLC: DIRECTOR / PDMR SHAREHOLDING

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility in ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 15 March 2010, Andrew Martin, Group Finance Director, exercised 650,000 options and 365,000 options at 333.5 pence and 229.25 pence respectively and disposed of all the resulting Shares at 503.3472 pence per Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Martin's shareholding is 620,531 Shares, representing 0.0331% of the issued share capital.
