Stagecoach Group PLC03 July 2006 Stagecoach Group Employee Benefit Trust 2003 ("the Trust") Stagecoach Group plc ("the Company") has been notified that the Trust haspurchased Ordinary Shares of 12/19th pence each in the Company as follows: Date Number of Shares Price paid per share 30.06.2006 1,135,546 114.25 pence Following the purchase, the Trust holds a total of 5,825,879 Ordinary Sharesrepresenting 0.53% of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares. The shares are heldby the Trust in order to satisfy the exercise of share options and deferredshares held under the Company's 2005 Executive Participation Plan. Two of the Executive Directors of the Company (being Brian Souter and MartinGriffiths) and certain other persons discharging managerial responsibility arepotential beneficiaries under the Trust and therefore have a beneficial interestin the shares held by the Trust.
