PURCHASE OF SHARES BY ESOP TRUST

The company was notified on 8 April 2013 of dealings in its ordinary shares of10 pence each by the Trustee of the UBM Employee Share Ownership Trust, whichis a discretionary Trust for the benefit of employees (including executivedirectors) of the UBM group.

Date of transaction: 5 April 2013

Nature of transaction: Purchase of 150,000 shares at an average price of 694.46per share, with a minimum price of 688.176p and a maximum price of 700.7387p.

The shares will be used to satisfy awards under UBM's share option andincentive plans.

Following the above transaction, the Trustee of the ESOP Trust holds a total of955,519 shares, representing 0.39% of the company's issued share capital.
