In accordance with the rules of the James Halstead Share Option Plan, the Remuneration Committee has awarded the Directors of the Company options over 5p ordinary shares as detailed below:

Mr Geoffrey Halstead	15,000 shares
Mr Mark Halstead	20,000 shares
Mr Gordon Oliver	20,000 shares
Mr Eberhard Lotz	15,000 shares

The date of the grant is 6 October 2008, the exercise price is 421p and the period of exercise is between the third and the tenth anniversary from the date of the grant.
