Greene King PLC13 January 2006 Directors' shareholdingsGreene King plc announces that, on 13 January 2006, 10,047 new ordinary sharesin the company were transferred by Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited,as trustee of the Greene King Employee Share Trust, to satisfy shares awarded toemployees of the group. As a result of the transfer, Rooney Anand, Ian Bull,Justin Adams, Mark Angela and David Elliott, who are beneficiaries of the trust,no longer have an interest in the 10,047 shares in the company. This brings thenumber of new ordinary shares in the Company owned by the Greene King EmployeeShare Trust to a total of 507,305.
