Legal & General Group Plc04 March 2008 Legal & General Group Plc Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan In common with all eligible employees, each of the executive directors of Legal& General Group Plc ("the Group") has been invited to apply for partnershipshares under the Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan ("the Plan") on amonthly basis. On 3 March 2008, each executive director chose to contribute topurchase the following partnership shares: Partnership SharesC. R. R. Avery 102T. J. Breedon 102A. W. Palmer 102J. B. Pollock 102 The Group matched these shares, on a one-to-one basis, up to £20 per month.Accordingly, each executive director, with the exception of J. B. Pollock,received 16 matching shares; J. B. Pollock received 17 matching shares. Theshares were purchased at a price of 122.9p per share. Theshares were purchased at a price of 122.9p per share.
