The Company announces that on 30 June 2011, Dr Mike Watts, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, bought 1,533 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.05 each ("Shares") at a purchase price of £ 3.56784 per Share. The Shares were purchased on the open market pursuant to a trading plan entered into on 29 September 2009.

Following this transaction, which represents 0.0005% of the issued share capital of the Company, Dr Watts holds 75,640 Shares, representing 0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company.
