Persons discharging managerial responsibility (PDMR) shareholding
1. On 25 March 2010 Mark Yallop exercised 1,470,105 options under the ICAP plc Bonus Share Matching Plan. These options comprise the basic and matching awards granted to Mark Yallop in 2006 and 2007 and the basic awards granted in 2008 and 2009 at a total cost of £6.00.
In order to meet the tax and national insurance liability which is incurred immediately on the exercise of those options, Mark Yallop sold on the London Stock Exchange on 25 March 2010 a total of 602,744 ordinary shares at an average price of £3.7617575 per share.
Following these transactions Mark Yallop has an interest in 1,217,361 ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.19% of the Company's share capital.
2. On 25 March 2010 Matthew Lester exercised 343,368 options under the ICAP plc Bonus Share Matching Plan. These options comprise the basic and matching awards granted to Matthew Lester in 2007 and the basic awards granted in 2008 and 2009 at a total cost of £4.00.
In order to meet the tax and national insurance liability which is incurred immediately on the exercise of those options, Matthew Lester sold on the London Stock Exchange on 25 March 2010 a total of 140,781 ordinary shares at an average price of £3.7617575 per share.
Following these transactions Matthew Lester has an interest in 202,587 ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.03% of the Company's share capital.
3. On 24 March 2010 David Casterton exercised 25,195 shares under the ICAP Senior Executive Equity Participation Plan (SEEPP). This exercise relates to 60% of the basic award granted to David Casterton under the SEEPP on 13 December 2006 at an exercise price of £1.00. The market value on the date of exercise was £3.7430.
Following this transaction, David Casterton has an interest in 258,813 ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.04% of the Company's share capital.
