20 March 2008 FirstGroup plc Directors'/PDMRs' Shareholding
FirstGroup plc ("the Company") has received notice that on 19 March 2008 the Trustees of the FirstGroup Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT") acquired 282,435 ordinary shares of 5 pence in the FirstGroup plc at an average price of 519.5214 pence per share. The EBT now holds 1,199,696 unallocated FirstGroup plc shares.
FirstGroup plc shares held by the EBT are used to satisfy awards made to participants in the Company's Executive Share Option Scheme and Executive Annual Bonus Plan.
The following executive directors and PDMRs of the Company are potential beneficiaries of the EBT and are deemed to be interested in those shares for the purposes of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2R.
