Liontrust Asset Management Plc ("the Company") was informed on 2 August 2011 of the following transactions in the Company's ordinary shares of 1p ("Shares"):
On 2 August 2011 John Ions and Vinay Abrol, directors of the Company, and Mrs Paige Ions, John Ions's wife, purchased Shares at a price of 74.72 pence per Share.
The number of Shares purchased by such directors and their connected persons and which are held on their behalf in nominee accounts were as follows:
