Inchcape PLC08 May 2006 Inchcape plc - Director's Interest in Shares On 8 May 2006, Mourant & Co. Trustees Limited, as trustee of the InchcapeEmployee Trust (the "Trust") transferred 10,932 Ordinary Shares of 150p each inthe Company to individuals exercising options granted under the Inchcape 1999Share Option Plan and 3,341 Ordinary Shares of 150p each in the Company to anindividual exercising an award granted under the Inchcape Deferred Bonus Plan. As potential beneficiaries under the Trust, each executive director of theCompany, being Andre Lacroix, Graeme Potts and Barbara Richmond, is treated asbeing interested in all shares held by the Trust.
