Consort Medical plc announces that a person discharging managerial responsibilities ('PDMR') as detailed below, has exercised awards over ordinary shares in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') in accordance with the terms of the Consort Medical plc Deferred Bonus Plan (the 'DBP') and the Consort Medical Performance Share Plan (the 'PSP') (together the 'Awards').
The Awards were exercised for nil consideration on 26 July 2019 pursuant to respective awards made on 21 June 2016.
The exercise of the Awards was satisfied out of the Ordinary Shares held in the Consort Medical plc Employee Share Ownership Trust.
Also on 26 July 2019, the same PDMR below disposed of Ordinary Shares at £7.78 per share with the net proceeds of the disposal used to cover tax liabilities associated to the above exercise of the Awards only. The resultant interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are shown below.
