The Company was informed today that under the terms of the Bellway EmployeeShare Trust (1992) 10,000 (0.008%) Bellway p.l.c. 12.5p ordinary shares weretransferred today, 29 April 2013, to Ted Ayres in Newcastle upon Tyne for aconsideration of 716.00p per share under the terms of the Bellway plc (1996)Employee Share Option Scheme ("1996 ESOS").

Immediately thereafter 7,534 of these Bellway p.l.c. 12.5p ordinary shares weresold at a price of 1376.94p per share.

Following this transaction Mr Ayres has a remaining interest in the 1996 ESOSof 16,500 shares (0.014%) and his holding of ordinary 12.5p shares in theCompany increased to 16,292 shares (0.013%).

Mr Ayres' other interests remain unchanged.

This notification is made in accordance with DR 3.1.4R(1)(a).
