Hargreaves Lansdown plc (the "Company") has received notification today from Alex Davies, a PDMR, that on 2nd December 2010, he sold a total of 100,000 ordinary shares of 0.4 pence in the Company ("ordinary shares") at a price of 493p per share. The number of ordinary shares sold represented 0.02% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Following this transaction, the beneficial shareholding of Alex Davies is 1,115,829 ordinary shares representing 0.24% of the ordinary shares in issue.

Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited is the registered shareholder as nominee for the above PDMR.
