Director/PDMR Shareholding

COMPASS GROUP PLC: DIRECTOR / PDMR SHAREHOLDING

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 11 March 2010, Juergen Thamm, a PDMR who is responsible for the Company's German business, exercised 62,000 options at 229.25 pence and disposed of all the resulting Shares at 504.2581 pence per Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Thamm's shareholding is 24,370 Shares, representing 0.0013% of the issued share capital.
