London Asia Chinese Private Equity Fund Limited

Following the announcement of Director's share dealings on 19 September 2008, the Company was informed on 19 September 2008 of the further acquisition by Mr R Leighton (Chairman of the Company) of 100,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company of 1 pence each. The acquisition was completed on that day at an average price of 41 pence per share.
Mr Leighton now holds 290,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, which represents 0.58% of the issued share capital.
