NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

 

The notifications below are all in accordance with DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(a) and DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(b) and the dealings were in respect of ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each in the share capital of the Company of which there were 339,398,968 shares in issue at the time of the dealings.

Following the approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 28 April 2009 of the Drax Bonus Matching Plan (the "Plan"), the share interests of the under-noted directors and persons discharging managerial responsibility have changed following each one receiving Deferred Awards and Marching Awards under the Plan. The awards were made at nil consideration. Performance for the 2009 Plan award will be measured over the three financial years from 1 January 2009, with potential vesting in April 2012.
