Notification of Transactions of Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons
Caledonia Investments plc ('Caledonia') announces that on 20 June 2008 a family trust of which Mr J M B Cazyer-Colvin, a director of Caledonia, is a trustee, distributed 8,988 ordinary shares in Caledonia representing 0.02% of the total issued ordinary share capital, to, or on behalf of, its beneficiaries. The recipient of 2,247 of these shares (representing 0.004% of the total issued ordinary share capital) was another family trust of which Mr Cayzer-Colvin is also a trustee. That trust then sold 2,247 shares at £19.14 per share to another Cayzer family member.
Mr Cazyer-Colvin's total interests in Caledonia's ordinary shares following these transactions, which were notified to Caledonia on 23 June 2008, are as follows:
Beneficial - 385,771 shares = 0.66%
Non-beneficial - 10,434 shares = 0.02%
Options - 120,719 shares = 0.21%
Deferred bonus plan - 8,217 shares = 0.01%
