Further to an announcement issued by Marks and Spencer Group plc (the "Company")on 9 January 2008 in respect of the purchase of ordinary shares of 25p each inthe Company by Steven Esom and Carl Leaver, the following updates have beenreceived: Steven Esom 24,360 shares purchased at a price of 410.50p per share. The registered holderfor these shares is T.D Waterhouse Nominees (Europe) Limited. His totalshareholding following this transaction is 24,360.
