Director shareholding
The Board of Murgitroyd announces that it today received notification that, on 21 June 2010, Ian Murgitroyd, Executive Chairman of the Group, transferred a total of 816,000 ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary Shares") to Artroyd Securities Limited at a price of 245p per Ordinary Share.
Artroyd Securities Limited is a private limited company owned and controlled by Mr Murgitroyd and members of his immediate family. Accordingly, following this transfer, Mr Murgitroyd maintains a beneficial interest in 2,461,750 Ordinary Shares, representing 29% of the current issued share capital of the Group.
