FINAL DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2010
Scottish and Southern Energy plc (the Company) has today been notified by Capita Registrars, the Company's Registrar, of the following acquisitions of shares by directors as a result of their elections to participate in the Scrip Dividend Scheme for the final dividend for the year ended 31 March 2010. These shares have been allotted with effect from today. The relevant Scrip Reference Price was 1,119p per share.
