Notification under paragraphs 3.1.2R to 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules
Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company") announces that it has today received notification that Mr M Pegler, being a person discharging managerial responsibilities of Hill & Smith, has purchased 4,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 264.75 pence per share. These transactions were effected on 1 October 2008 on the London Stock Exchange.
Following this purchase, Mr Pegler is beneficially interested in 4,000 ordinary shares in the Company and has options over 60,514 ordinary shares.
