Global Petroleum has today announced on the ASX that 859,965 ordinary shares were acquired between 7 May 2010 and 11 May 2010 by Mountainside Investments Pty Ltd, a company associated with Mr Mark Savage, on market at an average price of A$0.13 (approximately 7.8p). Mr Savage has an overall interest in the issued ordinary shares of Global Petroleum Limited of 1,459,965 (0.8 per cent.).
