This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R(1)(a).

On 28 January 2013, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (LSE:BRW) received notification that Matthew Butcher, a PDMR, has today paid up nil paid shares totalling 11,494 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 217.5 pence each pursuant to the Company's Senior Employee Matching Purchase Scheme June 2007 award.

His resultant holding in Ordinary Shares in the Company is 70,482 ordinary shares representing approximately 0.0279% of the total issued share capital of the Company and the total number of shares over which options are held by him is 130,723.
