Director/PDMR Shareholding

Hochschild Mining plc ('the Company') announces a change in the interests of Eduardo Hochschild, Executive Chairman, in the Ordinary Shares of 25p each in the Company ("Shares").

Following his participation in the Company's recent placing, Mr Hochschild acquired an interest in 1,064,780 Shares at a price of 295p per Share, taking his total interest to 182,415,206 Shares. 

The transaction took place on 12 October 2009 on the London Stock Exchange and was notified to the Company on 14 October 2009.
