Change in notifiable holding by a Director of Rotala Plc  

The Company has been notified by John Gunn, the Chairman of the Company, that he is, from 1 January 2020, no longer a trustee of three family trusts originally set up for the benefit of his now-adult children. Mr Gunn was never a beneficiary of these trusts, but, because he was a trustee, the shares held by the trusts, amounting in total to 1,252,418 ordinary shares in the Company, were treated as being part of John Gunn's non-beneficial shareholding in the Company. From 1 January 2020 therefore these shares fall to be excluded from the calculation of Mr Gunn's total direct and indirect interest in the Company.

Accordingly John Gunn now has a total beneficial interest in 5,649,987 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing approximately 11.28 per cent of the shares in issue, and a total direct and indirect interest in the Company of 7,352,430 ordinary shares, representing approximately 14.68 per cent of the shares in issue.

This change in trustee arrangements has not given rise to any disposal of shares.
