Director/PDMR Shareholding in Cable and Wireless plc ("the Company")
The Company has been advised that on 8th May 2008 Halifax Corporate Trustees Limited, trustee of the Cable & Wireless Share Incentive Plan ("SIP"), undertook the purchase of Partnership shares and allocation of Matching shares on behalf of the under mentioned Directors and PDMRs.
In addition, Halifax Corporate Trustees Limited has advised that pursuant to the dividend paid in January 2008, the under mentioned Directors and PDMRs purchased dividend shares in accordance with the rules of the SIP :-

The purchase price for the Partnership shares was £1.5195 per share.
1 Matching shares will be held in Trust until the third anniversary of the date of grant. If any Partnership shares are removed from the Trust within three years, the corresponding Matching shares will usually be forfeit.
