Notification of Transactions of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons pursuant to DTR 3.1.4R

The Company announces that the following grants of nil cost share awards under the Company's Performance Share Plan have been made on 17th February 2012 to the following Executive Directors:

The vesting of these Share Awards will be subject to the Company's performance over three years, starting from 1st December 2011 to 30th November 2014, measured by reference to two performance tests: Absolute and Relative Total Shareholder Return performance. The Awards will vest on 17th February 2015.

On the same date, each Executive Director was granted an HMRC Approved Option under the Company's Executive Share Option Scheme over 19,769 shares at a per share exercise price of 151.75p. Each option is subject to the same performance tests as apply to the PSP award. The number of shares that may be delivered under a PSP award will be reduced at exercise to ensure that the total pre-tax value delivered to the participants is not increased by the grant of the Approved Option.
