Legal & General Group PLC02 June 2006 Legal & General Group Plc ("Group") Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan ("the Plan") In common with all eligible employees, each of the executive directors of Legal& General Group Plc ("Group") have been invited to apply for partnership sharesunder the Plan on a monthly basis. On 1 June 2006 each executive director choseto contribute to purchase the following partnership shares: Partnership SharesC. R. R. Avery 98T. J. Breedon 98A. W. Palmer 98R. A. Phipps 98J. B. Pollock 98 The Group matched these shares, on a one-to-one basis, up to £20 per month.Accordingly, each executive director received 15 matching shares. The shareswere purchased at a price of 127.5p per share.
