United Business Media plcNotification of transactions of Directors and persons discharging managerialresponsibility ("PDMRs")United Business Media plc was notified on 14 March 2006 of the following awardsmade under the Company's Performance Share Plan ("PSP") and Bonus InvestmentPlan ("BIP") on 13 March 2006 to the Directors and PDMRs listed below. Theawards under the BIP are in respect of bonus entitlements for the year ended 31December 2005, which the participants have elected to defer into shares.Awards were made in the form of options, which will become exercisable on thethird anniversary of the date of grant, subject to the participant's continuedemployment in the group. Matching options under the BIP, and the PSP options,are also subject to the fulfilment of performance conditions. No money was paidfor the grant of the options and the option exercise price under each Plan is ‚£1 in aggregate.The Company was also notified on 14 March 2006 of a conditional award of 15,232shares made on 13 March 2006 to Henry Elkington, a PDMR.
