Close Brothers Group plc (the "Company") was advised on 18 March 2010 by Stephen Hodges, Group Managing Director (a director and PDMR of the Company) of the sale on 18 March 2010 of 99,896 Ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of £7.758 per share.

Following the above transaction, Mr Hodges' total beneficial holding in the Company is 593,573 Shares.
