On 13th March 2014, pursuant to a Deferred Share Award granted to him on 10th December 2010 under the Enterprise Inns 2005 Annual Bonus Plan, W S Townsend, a Director of the Company, acquired 317,508 ordinary shares in the Company of 2.5 pence each ("Shares") for a total payment of £1.

On the same day, W.S Townsend sold 146,054 Shares at 151.4 pence per share to cover tax liabilities arising as a result of the acquisition.
