Anglo American Long Term Incentive Plan - "LTIP"
The Company announces that the undernoted share awards granted under the LTIP in 2009 vested on 14 March 2012. After the sale of shares (at £26.01 / ZAR311.08 per share) where appropriate to meet income tax and social security liabilities, the net increases in share interests are:

The net shares released to Mrs Carroll reflect the 96% achievement of performance conditions attached to the award. The other individuals named above were not PDMRs at the date of grant and hence their awards were not subject to performance conditions and vested in full.
