Non-Executive Director RemunerationDirector/PDMR Shareholding Notification
Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), a global leader in the supply of life science research tools, was notified on 14 September 2016 that, each of its Non-Executive Directors ("NEDs") purchased ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each in the Company ("Shares") on 14 September 2016 at a price of £8.003036 per Share funded pursuant to individual fee agreements entered into by the NEDs with the Company on 15 October 2015 ("Fee Agreements"), details of which were set out in an announcement made by the Company on that date, under which the NEDs agreed to receive part of their fees delivered as a fixed number of Shares.
Under the Fee Agreements, it was agreed that one third of the NEDs' initial total fees for Abcam's financial year ending 30 June 2016 would be delivered as Shares after deductions for PAYE and National Insurance following the announcement of the preliminary results for the year on 12 September 2016. As announced on 15 October 2015, a fixed number of Shares were calculated for each NED by dividing one third of the total fees by the average Share price of £5.95 (being the average Share price for the ten dealing days following the announcement of Abcam's preliminary results for the year ended 30 June 2015).
