The Scottish Investment Trust PLC (the 'Company')
Director/PDMR notification
On 3 May 2019, the Company was notified that:
(i) Confirmation had been granted by The Sheriff Court at Edinburgh in the Sheriffdom of Lothian and Borders on 29 April 2019 over the estate of the late Mrs MJB Will (the 'Executry') in favour of the late Mrs Will's executors. Said Executry included 7,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), and as one of the executors so confirmed on 29 April 2019, Mr James Will (a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Company), had become interested as executor in such 7,000 Ordinary Shares;
(ii) the Executry, of which Mr James Will is an executor as above-mentioned, had:
· sold on 3 May 2019, as part of the administration of the Executry, 6,000 Ordinary Shares of 25p in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 7.972333 pence per share; and
· transferred for nil consideration, on 3 May 2019, 1,000 Ordinary Shares to Mr James Will, being one of the beneficiaries under the Executry; and
(iii) The Charles A Stevenson Trust (the 'Trust'), of which Mr James Will is a trustee, had as part of the winding-up arrangements of the Trust automatically activated by the death of Mrs MJB Will:
· sold on 3 May 2019 10,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 7.972333 pence per share; and
· transferred, for nil consideration, on 3 May 2019 1,000 Ordinary Shares to Mr James Will, being one of the beneficiaries under the Trust.
Following these transactions:
· neither the Executry nor the Trust has any remaining interest in the Ordinary Shares of the Company;
· Mr James Will has an increased disclosable shareholding in the Company of 10,000 Ordinary Shares (31 October 2018: 8,000 Ordinary Shares), (representing approximately 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company) and has no remaining beneficial or potentially beneficial interest in any Ordinary Shares.
This notification is made under Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation.
