The Company announces that on 8th October 2010 Sanne Trust Company Limited, acting as Trustee for the Ultra Electronics Long Term Incentive Plan 2007 ("the Plan"), purchased 2,983 ordinary 5p shares of the Company (representing approximately 0.0043% percent of issued share capital of the Company) at a price of £17.514 per share based on the market price on 7th October 2010.

These purchases were made to increase the number of shares held by the Trustees in respect of awards made in March 2010 under the Plan, to the Company's Executive Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility.
