Director/PDMR Shareholding
As disclosed in the Company's preliminary results on November 13, 2008, Euromoney met the performance criteria for the vesting of the second tranche of options under the Company's 2004 Capital Appreciation Plan (CAP). Under the terms of the CAP, options to acquire 1,806,370 new Euromoney ordinary shares have now been exercised by certain directors, PDMRs and other senior management of the Company. Following the exercise of these options, 974,580 ordinary shares have been sold in the market at an average price of 178.0 pence a share.
The resultant changes in the shareholdings and holdings of share options of the Company's Directors and PDMRs from these transactions are given in the table below. The shares sold by the Directors and PDMRs were largely limited to raising sufficient proceeds to meet their individual tax liabilities arising from the exercise of their CAP options.
