Guinness Peat Group PLC27 April 2007 GUINNESS PEAT GROUP PLC Guinness Peat Group plc announces that one of its directors, Mr G J Cureton, hasbought and sold shares in one of its quoted Australian subsidiaries, CapralAluminium Limited ("Capral"). Buduva Pty Limited, in which Mr Cureton has anindirect interest, yesterday sold 144,000 shares in Capral and Mr Curetonpurchased 175,000 shares in Capral the same day. Capral has 194.6 millionshares in issue.
