Legal & General Group PLC13 April 2006 Savings Related Share Option Scheme ("the Scheme") In common with all eligible employees, each of the executive directors of Legal& General Group Plc ("the Company") have been invited to participate in theScheme. On 13 April 2006 R. A. Phipps was granted options over 6,393 ordinary2.5p shares in the Company at a price of 117p per share. M. J. Bolton a Senior Manager also chose to take part in the scheme and wasgranted options over 7,991 ordinary 2.5p shares at a price of 117p per share.
